Here's how it went down:
David Martin introduced me to Sacha Stone, with a nudge for him to blurb my new book. Cut to me receiving an email from Sacha's assistant saying that Sacha dug it, and was working on the blurb, and would I be available for a Zoom chat with Sacha to discuss participating in the Lazarus Collective Symposium.
I spent the morning before our chat in the recording studio, fixing a handful of spazzy glitches peppering the audio files of said new (audio)book - a recording studio without air conditioning. I raced home in time to hop on our chat, only to realize - as Sacha began reading from my (thoroughly outdated) bio - that we were recording a podcast.
Eek!
Vanity and microphone stuff aside, I think it went really well. Sacha asked me some really groovy, multidimensional questions that I'd not yet been asked, while he did not ask if he could take me out on a date, or whisper sweet everythings in my ear. Regardless, our banter was elevated and sparkly, and I trust you will enjoy it.

What if the stories you're telling about your life are the very things keeping you stuck?
In this solo romp, Dani dives into the cultural obsession with turning every challenge into an identity, every hardship into a personality trait, and every inconvenience into a lifelong narrative.
From celebrity memoirs and workplace culture to beauty, aging, language, and the filler words we use every day without thinking, Dani explores how stories become beliefs, beliefs become identities, and identities become self-fulfilling prophecies.
You'll learn why beauty has nothing to do with appearance, why victimhood is so seductive, how language functions like programming code, and why our unconscious use of the word "my" may be tethering us to more hardships and suckiness than we realize.
If you've ever wondered whether you're living your life—or living a story about your life—this episode is for you.

“Status Correction + the Citizenship Trap with Daniel Mentz”
Daniel Mentz of Sacred Honor Educational Fellowship returns to the podcast for a mind-bending conversation about status correction, natural law, lawful remedy, and the hidden legal architecture most people never realize they’re operating inside.
We unpack the confusion clouding the sovereignty space, the difference between natural law and statutory systems, how identity and consent function inside modern governance, and why so many people feel trapped in systems they never knowingly agreed to.
If you’ve ever wondered:
• What is status correction?
• What is natural law?
• Are we interacting with legal fictions?
• Why does the system feel rigged?
• And how do we reclaim agency inside it?
…this episode is for you.
